The club is open outside as per Government guidelines.
As per the government guidelines, social distancing must be observed at all times including the wearing of face coverings when not sat at a table. We require all guests to sign in for track and trace. Full details on restrictions will be displayed around the club. Please speak with a member of staff or a member of the committee if you have any questions or concerns.
Please note: alcohol must only be consumed whilst sat at a table, and cannot be taken away to other areas of the club.
Newport Fugitives Athletic Club
The 'Fugies', as it is known to its members, is a small Sports and Social club, nestling almost invisibly behind the houses on the main road through High Cross. It comprises a club house, large car park and cricket and rugby pitches.
A warm welcome will be extended to you by the staff and members should you come in for a drink and introduce yourselves at the bar. Membership is open to everyone, please visit our Membership page for details.
Fundraiser for Supporting Nepal's Children
In October this year, Richard Hill and some of his colleagues will be travelling to Nepal to build a vocational training centre for local young people and children.
